Serviced Apartments in Milan

Post to Facebook Post to Twitter

Serviced apartments were born as an alternative to traditional hotel accommodation for people who travel with their families and for business professionals who need an accommodation for a longer time then traditional leisure clients. The main advantages of serviced apartment rentals are the total price per stay which is much lower compared to a hotel or a residence (if you stay more than 6 nights), the privacy that an apartment suite can deliver (as you will not need to go through the reception desk in order to invite guests to your room), the total space that you cannot find in a hotel room (unless you stay in the presidential suite) and the availability of a kitchen which would allow you to save money from going out to eat everyday. This segment of the accommodation market is being answered by respected hotel chains in developed markets such as the US, the UK and Asia with special brands created for short term travelers. However, if you look at the product they offer, you will feel that it is not that different than a typical residence, which we believe is generally a monotone and depressing form of accommodation.

We have created the Choove brand in order to offer the people who have the same needs like we had when we were moving to a new city. You might be moving to Milan to study or to work, or for a completely different reason. In any case, we want you to enjoy this beautiful city as much as we do! As Choove, we offer our clients an experience which makes them feel more comfortable and happy with our selected serviced apartment suites located in different central locations of Milan. We make sure that every apartment in our portfolio delivers a different set of emotions so that our clients, whom we believe are all different from each other, can choose an apartment which would answer their exact needs, rather than answering them with a single monotone product. Our company name Choove comes from our company motto "Choose Before You Move" which actually is one of the main advantages we give to our clients by providing them with accurate information, photos and ratings, so that they will not have any doubts or difficulties while making their selection. Our serviced apartment suites come full with fresh towel sets, bed sheets and amenities such as hairdryers that you would find in a hotel room. Our prices include utility consumption, building expenses and broadband internet connection. All these privileges can be yours starting from as low as 60Euro per night. For more information please contact us at info@choove.com.

We would like to welcome you and hope you will find what you are looking for.

Kind Regards,

Choove Team

Milan to get 1st Zero Emission Hotel! Hotel Milano Scala

Post to Facebook Post to Twitter

Milan, one of the most polluted cities in Europe, is making efforts to change that reputation it’s newest step in environmental action. The city will open its first zero-emission hotel, in spring 2010, with the help of Japanese technology and local green energy to cut its carbon footprint.duomo

The new hotel, Hotel Milano Scala, will be located in the heart of Milan, Italy’s financial centre, and will avoid emitting nearly 420 tons of carbon dioxide (CO2) a year. Every effort counts in a city with annual CO2 emissions of about 7 million tons. This will hopefully mark the new trend with building development  in the financial and fashion capital.

Says Vittorio Modena, the author of the 12-15 million euro project, told a news conference:  ”We are the first zero-emission hotel in Milan, one of the most polluted areas in Italy and probably in Europe … We will not contribute to pollution.”

Mitsubishi Electric has developed technology that will allow the hotel to be CO2-neutral. This technology does not burn fuel for heating. It combines making hot water with air conditioning, and will be powered exclusively from renewable sources.

The four-star Hotel Milano Scala will be managed by Maurizio Faroldi and will seek environment-friendly suppliers for all its needs, from soap to furniture. It will charge around 400 euros a night and thus will target well-heeled clients and mostly foreigners.

“We want to communicate diversity, commitment to save the environment and we want to be chosen for these values,” Faroldi said.
