Navigli is a very lively area which is in the southern part of Milan. It was the city's port district until the 19th century and it is the only part of the city where you can see the remaining of the canals in Milan. These canals are very characteristic and are very popular especially in the summer. Recently, apartments in this area have started to be renovated, and became popular in Milan once again. Navigli is a preferred area among young professionals.
Driving directions
From the highway, you will need to take the Piazzale Corvetto exit.
Airports
Malpensa Airport: Take the Malpensa Express Train and arrive at Cadorna Train Station. From here you can take MM2 Green Metro Line towards Abbiategrasso direction and exit at Romolo metro station.Linate Airport: Take the bus no. 73 which will take you to Piazza San Babila. From here you can walk to Piazza del Duomo and take the tram no. 3 towards Gratosoglio direction and get off at “Meda-Torricelli” stop.
